Cinnamon Dutch Baked Apples

Ingredients

6 Granny Smith or Fuji Apples, washed & cored
1 Tablespoon Hill Country Fare Ground Cinnamon
2 tablespoons Hill Country Fare Raisins (8 raisins each)
2 tablespoons Sugar or Sugar Replacement
6 tablespoons Hill Country Fare Vanilla or Fat Free Whipped Topping

Directions

1. Place the 6 cored apples into a two-quart microwave-safe dish.

2. Sprinkle ½ teaspoon cinnamon inside each apple where core was removed. 

3. Stuff 1 teaspoon raisins and sugar or sugar replacement into each apple.

4. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap.

5. Microwave on High power for 10 minutes.  If your microwave oven does not have a rotating bottom, turn the baking dish a half turn after 5 minutes of cooking and then microwave 5 more minutes.

6. Carefully remove the baking dish from the microwave oven with potholders.  Let apples cool 5 minutes and then top each apple with 1 Tablespoon Vanilla or Fat Free Whipped Topping.
