Asthma is on the rise.  We at the Children's Hospital of Austin feel that the education of asthmatic children and their families is a key in managing astma and preventing hospitalizations for asthma.  Because of this, we have a strong commitment to patienc, family and community education.  The family Asthma Program has changed over the years to meet the needs of families for information that is accurate and concise.  As a part of this effort, the Repiratory Education Staff at Children's Hospital of Austin has recently updated and improved the Family Asthma program.
