Answer

I get this question frequently from people in my smoking cessation program at Seton. Here are a few quick responses:

  1. The money you'll save (1 pack per day approaches $1000 in a year)
  1. The time and trouble you'll save by not going to smoking areas.
  1. You will feel better. This may not be as dramatic over the short run, but over the long haul it is certainly true.
  1. Food smells and tastes better.
